We at Afi Ventour & Co. proudly celebrate eleven (11) years of providing legal advocacy, consultancy and representation of the highest quality to our local, regional, and international clients. Our legal team has been consistently recognized for the ability to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients, while maintaining our values and the principles of the legal profession in the State of Grenada.
Our team is led by the Founder and Managing Partner, Afi Ventour De Vega, and recently appointed Junior Partner, Yurana E. Phillip, who jointly boast of over twenty (20) years of experience in private practice. Together with our team of Associate Attorneys and supported by several paralegals and other professionals, we offer a total of over thirty-five (35) years of experience.
In 2020, we welcomed two additional Associate Attorneys to the firm, Aloytha Thomas and Sheriece Viechweg-Noel. Aloytha has over three (3) years of experience in practice and she represents clients in civil litigation, conveyancing, and estate planning among other areas. Sheriece, was recently called to the Grenada Bar and focuses on civil litigation, criminal matters and conveyancing.
As we celebrate our legal journey, which commenced on the 15th day of February 2010, we reflect on the significant progress the firm has made in providing legal representation and advice on corporate and commercial matters to investors and entrepreneurs, corporate structuring, real estate acquisitions and sales, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, information technology contracts and energy law. Additionally, representation on transnational matrimonial matters, tax advice and estate planning advice.
Our firm forges on in the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, as we are fortunate to have the support and commitment of our loyal clients and partners. We have since experienced the evolution of the legal profession to where most legal transactions and court hearings take place in a remote, virtual environment. As we navigate through this time, we continue to abide by the protocols and mandates implemented by the Government of Grenada to keep our team and clients safe and operate efficiently.
